Verbs of motion based on their aspectual characteristics of telicity/atelicity

Abstract

The paper highlights the role of analytical means in conveying aspectual meanings of telicity and atelicity of verbal actions, with a focus on French verbs of motion. In this regard, the authors have analyzed various analytical means which contribute to the expression of the category of telicity/atelicity of French verbs of motion based on their lexical, grammatical and syntactic peculiarities.
