Abstract

The author wishes to take a position in the discussion about media convergence, understood in two ways, in line with the views represented by H. Jenkins. The broader meaning of convergence refers to a situation in which different media systems coexist, and media content is transferred between these systems without obstacles, whereas in the narrower meaning the concept refers to technological, cultural and social changes in the methods of media circulation within culture
