Abstract: The article provides an analysis of Russian and foreign experience of work for the recultivation of land after the anthropogenic impact - mining in the open way. The article provides the rationale for the choice of directions for the recultivation of man-made landscapes of the Lebedinsky mining complex taking into account the conditions and the factors influencing the subsequent targeted economic use of the reclaimed land
