Abstract: Parametric X-rays (PXR) from relativistic electrons incident at small angles on a surface of a crystalline target is considered as a method for increasing the X-ray yield. The yield can be increased by grazing incidence electrons than for perpendicular incidence electrons by minimizing the photoabsorption of the emitted X-rays
